Matt Lauer has had a hard time keeping a straight face on air recently. First, it was Paula Dean talking about toasted nuts that set off a laugh attack in the “Today Show” host. And this morning, it was an interviewee who cautioned Lauer that “the size of the package is important.”

News Item: Anne Hathaway and James Franco will be the Oscar ceremony hosts this year. I’ve seen enough movies that she’s in. But even after Googling Franco, I still don’t really have any idea who he is.
