Palin Starts Food Fight with First Lady

It takes a special kind of fight picker to find fault in a campaign aimed at eliminating childhood obesity. But Sarah Palin is nothing if not adept at throwing punches. She took aim at Michelle Obama in an episode of her reality show for telling parents to limit the sugar in their children’s diets says the New York Daily News. Palin dedicated a S’mores-making scene to the First Lady, saying “this is in honor of Michelle Obama, who said the other day we should not have dessert.” As the Daily News points out, Obama did not suggest a moratorium on dessert—in fact she admitted to having quite a pie addiction herself. In the speech Palin referenced, Obama told her audience that for her kids, dessert is not a right.
