    New York’s PBS station is fighting fire with fire. They’ve produced a spoof of ridiculous reality TV—the tannest family in America, the Tanners—as a way to get people to donate to their quality programming. It’s pretty effective…and hilarious.

    I guess it’s my obligation to report the bad news along with the good news.  My primetime show on CNBC has been pulled from the schedule after two weeks of dismal ratings.  The network says it will try to find a better way to promote Crowd Rules before putting any more episodes on TV.
