USA Today’s Michael Wolff looks at the search giant’s recent acquisition of (as well as rumors that it’s now selling) Frommers Travel Guides as a sign that Google is in desperate need of its own content. He says the bad-boy media empire, which has shown a knack for attracting advertisers while its competitors continue to struggle, “might be the logical bridge for Google to the media world.”
