The Celebrity Divorce Equation

Demi and Ashton were doomed from the start…based on the Sundem/Tierney Unified Celebrity Theory, at least. The New York Times says the equation has been updated since reporter John Tierney created it in 2006. While the old formula measured fame by Google hits, the new one uses mentions in the Times divided by mentions in the National Enquirer. Judging by the NYT/ENQ ratio, things look great for Jay-Z and Beyonce…and not so great for any Kardashian/NBA player union.
