Thanksgiving at the White House

Very cool pre-Thanksgiving article in the Washington Post this morning. The paper takes a look at how the holiday has been celebrated by residents of 1600 Pennsylvania Drive in years—and centuries—past. William Taft apparently served “chubby Georgia possums” alongside his Thanksgiving turkey, and FDR loved oyster stew and browned sausages.
