Should Cheney’s Heart Have Gone to Someone Younger?

Dick Cheney got a new heart over the weekend. This morning USA Today asks what lots of people have been wondering: should his donor heart have gone to somebody younger? The paper says at 71, Cheney is not the oldest person to get a transplant, and that it’s a patient’s overage health, not their age, that determines who gets an organ.
