San Francisco Plane Crash: Victim Possibly Run Over

The San Francisco Chronicle dedicates several pages to the plane crash that claimed the lives of two girls on Saturday. Dramatic footage shows Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crashing onto the landing strip at SFO before bouncing up and onto its nose. The pilot was experienced, but it was only his ninth time flying a 777, which meant he was still in “training.”
Officials are now trying to determine whether one of the two 16-year-old victims was run over by a rescue vehicle at the scene of the accident. Several of the plane’s other 301 passengers sustained injuries. VIDEO
