Rupert Murdoch takes to the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal this morning to give his opinions about the state of the news business. For all those who worry that journalism is dying, Murdoch makes assurances that it’s not. But, he says, to survive, news organizations must be innovative and provide the content their readers want. He has harsh words for news aggregates (“To be impolite, it’s theft.”) and says the federal government should halt any involvement in the industry.
