Ravi Shankar Dies at 92

Sitar master Ravi Shankar has died at the age of 92. A photo in the LA Times this morning shows Shankar with his most famous student, Beatle George Harrison. Shankar, a Hippie icon who was credited with introducing Indian music to much of the western world, continued to perform into his 90s.
