He’s talking about Phil Mickelson’s big win at the British Open yesterday, in which he ended up with a final-round 66, on a “course that seldom allows those.” And he birdied four of his last six holes, also unheard of. As Dwyre says: “It was masterful, storybook stuff. The greatest players in the world dream about days like this and seldom get one.”
