Talk about getting your fill. Phil Campbell, Alabama is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary. And in honor of the event, the town has extended an invitation to the world’s Phil Campbells to join them. The Wall Street Journal says the invitation includes any one with a derivation close to Phil—Phylis, Felipe, Philomena Campbells are all welcome. The idea for the hoedown belongs to one Phil Campbell of Brooklyn, who discovered the town when he was in college. After one previous attempt at a Phil festival back in 1995, he let the idea slide until the centennial rolled around.
