Opinion: I Feel Sorry for Tiger Woods

LA Times sports columnist Bill Plaschke feels sorry for Tiger Woods. Plaschke is in Georgia, getting ready to cover the Masters. And he writes that it was at a press conference for the event that he started feeling this way: “After spending the last 18 months feeling sorry for his family and the destruction he wrought upon them, I am now feeling sorry for him and the enduring damage he has done to himself.” Plaschke says unlike most sports stars who’ve “fallen from the heavens,” Woods has yet to have his comeback moment. Ben Roethlisberger had his. So did Michael Vick. But Woods has “spent the last year and a half in the sand.”
