The new Illinois football coach has a new motto: let them eat steak. But only, says the Chicago Tribune, if they follow the rules. Players who heeded the coach’s guidelines—arrive to class 10 minutes early, don’t miss any reps during workout—got a full steak and eggs breakfast. Those who did not are subjected to a “porridge penalty.” Not one to shirk his own rules, coach Tim Beckman ate at the Oliver Twist table after missing a practice.
