NASCAR’s Primetime Debut a Circus

Last night was NASCAR’s first, live primetime telecast of the Daytona 500. You could say things started with a bang—if you call “fire and rain, delays and destruction” a bang, that is. The Florida Times-Union highlights some of the chaos in this morning’s paper, like when 200 gallons of fuel spilled on to the track and caught on fire. Or the 30-hour rain delay.
