Turns out, she might be a bit of a fame monster herself. The New York Post leads with accusations from a Staten Island mom who says Lady Gaga stole and capitalized on her late daughter’s musical persona. The woman says a month after her daughter’s suicide, Lady Gaga took the music industry by storm using “the same style, the same look, the same music, the same voice as her daughter.
Gaga and Lina Morgana were introduced in 2006 in hopes that they would collaborate on an album. Morgan’s mother says she doesn’t want to file a lawsuit, but that she’d like the pop star to acknowledge her daughter’s impact and release the songs they recorded together: “Lady Gaga is holding Lina’s soul, and I want her soul to be free.”
