The Wall Street Journal asked scores of authors for advice on how to write a great novel and they print a nice round up this morning on everything from writing the first sentence to what kind of note cards to use. And If you are paralyzed by writer’s block, you’re not alone. Almost everyone interviewed by the Journal says they suffer from a combination of “procrastination, writer’s block, the terror of failure that looms over a new project and the attention-sucking power of the Internet.”
