How to Break-Up on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to say “I love you.” But it’s also the perfect day for a break up says John Kass of the Chicago Tribune. Kass writes that his dumping advice is designed “so the guy can play the loser” and the woman “can walk away, keeping her dignity and pride intact.” In order to seal the deal, he suggests renting “The Bad Lieutenant” and inviting your “iced 12-pack” wielding friends over to watch the fight.

Seems like love is missing in the air in Chicago this year. The Tribune also prints a round-up of the best anti-Valentine’s Day films. And any of them could stand in for “The Bad Lieutenant” in the scenario above.
