Holiday Cards Not So Cheerful This Year

You may be hard pressed to find any good tidings in your mailbox this year. Characterized by boasts, brags and optimistic summaries, holiday cards have a lot less let-me-tell-you-about-wonderful-job and a lot more can-you-find me-a-job this year says the Wall Street Journal.
And you may have fewer Christmas cards to read. USA Today says the US Postal Service saw an 11 percent decline in mail volume in the early December period when cards are typically mailed.
