Henny Penny! Laptop Falls From Sky, Just Misses Boy

This is like the more dangerous, hi-tech version of leaving a coffee cup on the roof of your car: A Minnesota boy got lucky when a laptop that fell out of thin air just missed his head. The St. Cloud Times says the computer belonged to personnel aboard a medical helicopter, who forgot that the laptop was balanced on the aircraft’s skid as they took off hurriedly.  In what I consider a happy ending for such a litigious society, the boy’s family said “it knows the medical crew’s work is important and the forgotten laptop was an honest mistake. They said they’re glad no one was hurt.”
