Harry Potter Ride Expanded For Oversized Fans

Usually, it’s the minimum height requirement that prevents fans from riding the Forbidden Journey attraction at Universal Studios. But not this time. There’s no magic to help oversized fans squeeze into the seats on the new Harry Potter-theme ride. So the park has increased the girth of the seats, ending what the Sun Sentinel calls a “mini-controversy.” The park decided to accommodate larger fans despite earlier dismissals of the problem. Officials had previously pointed out that “Dwight Howard, the Orlando Magic’s 6-11, 265-pound center, was able to ride it.”
