Haiti Refugees in US Detention Centers

The New York Times has a story about a shameful outcome of the earthquake in Haiti. Some of the Haitians rushed out by airlift have been stuck in US immigration limbo for weeks. And some of them are stuck in detention centers because they don’t have visas. In response to questions from the Times, a spokesman for ICE said about 30 Haitian citizens being held in Florida detention centers were now ?being processed for release.?
