VIDEO: Grinnell Sophomore Breaks NCAA Record with 138 Points

Jack Taylor, a sophomore at Iowa’s Grinnell College, broke a 58-year-old NCAA record yesterday for scoring the most points in a basketball game reports the Des Moines Register. Taylor, a 5 foot 10 guard, scored 138 points during the game. He told the Register he was actually worried whether he’d perform well in the game, which Grinnell went on to win 179-104. Obviously, he had nothing to worry about. Said his coach: “He could have thrown it up with one hand and it would have gone in by the end of the game.”
