German Town to Lose its American Identity

The German town of Baumholder is about to change dramatically says the Washington Post. It’s turned into a slice of America—complete with Ford Mustangs cruising the streets—thanks to the adjacent US Army base. But the Pentagon announced last month that it will trim its troop presence by nearly one-fourth in Germany and other parts of Europe.
