Interesting article in the Wall Street Journal this morning about the recording of Kidz Bop cover songs and the changes they make to lyrics to make songs more family friendly.  Like turning this Carly Rae Jepsen description of checking out a stranger—“His ripped jeans skin was showin.’ “—into this more g-rated version:  “Ripped jeans, smile showin.’ “
