‘Fuse News’ to Fill Music News Hole

Remember when MTV was a channel about music? Well, according to the New York Times, MSG’s Fuse is taking another step to fill the void with an announcement that it will launch a music news program on February 6th. Called “Fuse News,” the channel’s first big event will be a Grammy red carpet show on February 10th. Says Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy and one of the channel’s senior correspondants: “We’re not trying to report on, like, ‘Oh, and Justin Bieber got drunk and tweeted this picture last night.’ We’re really staying away from that stuff – we’re trying to keep it a real, respectable news outlet.”
