Scissors in your purse? Pumpkin pie in your carry-on? Just in time for the holidays, the Wall Street Journal takes a look at which items can be taken through the airport and which cannot. Unfortunately, it’s often a guessing game. For example, if you are flying to the United States from South America, avoid buying bottled water after passing through security, as some airlines will confiscate your purchase before allowing you to board.
