The Minneapolis Star Tribune profiles family reunions of a different breed in this morning’s paper. Thanks to social media and better record keeping in the shelter system more pet owners are organizing family reunions for their adopted dogs. Experts say while it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, it’s unclear whether they get any added benefit from reunited with a long-lost brother or sister. The main benefit, it seems, is for the owner.
