Cop Has His Own Doughnut Shop

There’s a reason the Bangles sang about “all the cops in the doughnut shop.” Police officers know their doughnuts. And it’s a safe bet, reports the Orange County Register, that if a cop runs a doughnut business you’re “on to something special.” Officer Jess Gilman wanted to earn some extra cash, so he responded to the Lil Orbits doughnut company’s “Tasty Profits” ads. The “I’m a cop, I know my doughnuts” sales pitch works every time.
