A retired Long Island school teacher is about to drive his car past the three-million mile mark says the New York Daily News. Irvin Gordon’s 1966 Volvo has held a Guinness World record for High Mileage Vehicle since 2002. Right now, he’s at mile 2,966,000—it’s taken him 120 sets of tires to get there.
