Biden, Obama on Opposite Sides of Gay Marriage Debate

Vice-President Biden pointed out an internal schism within the White House yesterday, when he told reporters he believed same-sex couples deserved the right to marriage. President Obama has said his views on the matter are “evolving” but has said little else. The Washington Post says there has been an internal struggle within the president’s camp about whether or not to endorse gay marriage before the November elections.
