Bacon-Flavored Kosher Soda

I’m a fan of bacon—don’t get me wrong—but a bacon-flavored soda, is that really necessary? Jones Soda Co. thinks so. They’ve just rolled out their first pork soda, which is, oddly, being marketed as both vegetarian and kosher. And, according to the people the New York Daily News got to taste it, it’s disgusting.

One brave soul described it this way: “Tastes like beef or something. It’s quite strong, and thick. Oh! And it is gross! Who would want that?”  No one, I imagine. Plus, trans fats in a soda? I’m surprised Mayor Bloomberg hasn’t formed a task force.
