Stubbs the cat has been the honorary mayor of tiny Talkeetna, Alaska for the past 16 years. He’s survived a bb gun shooting, a fall into a restaurant fryer, and a leap from a moving truck. But after a recent run-in with a dog that left him badly injured, the Wall Street Journal says the town is contemplating a regime change. There’s been talk of an election. But one resident admits, “those are difficult paws to fill.”
