A “Rap” for Lohan, Theft Charges Coming Today

It’s a “rap” for Lindsay Lohan says the New York Post. The troubled actress will be charged with grand theft today—a felony—for allegedly stealing a $2500 necklace. Legal experts say this charge is far more serious than her previous one for drunk driving. She faces up to three years in jail—and that’s not including time she could incur for violating the terms of her probation. After Lohan was caught on camera wearing the stolen necklace, she claimed that it was loaned to her by the jewelry store’s owner. She turned it over last week before police could execute a search warrant of her home.

According to the LA Times, Lohan will be charged at 10:30 am today.
