8-Year-Old Boy Turns Mom In For Drunk Driving

A Twin Cities mom was disciplined by the principal, and then police after her eight-year-old son told school officials his mom was waiting in the car, but that “she was too drunk to drive.” According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the principal accompanied the boy to his mother’s car, where he found her unable to speak coherently. He took her keys and called the police. According to the incident report, “standard field sobriety tests were not done because the defendant fell down when she exited the vehicle.” She later admitted to drinking a half-pint of vodka before going to pick up her kids.
