Where’s Cigar Guy?

He’s sucking on a cigar instead of wearing a striped stocking cap, but for all intents and purposes Cigar Guy has become a real-life Waldo. Since making his inaugural appearance behind an amazing shot of Tiger Woods from this weekend’s Ryder Cup, the anonymous onlooker has become an Internet sensation. The Daily Mail was the first to print his photo on Sunday. Now, you can see him Photoshopped onto classic album covers and famous sports photos. But even his new-found ubiquity hasn’t answered the question on everyone’s mind: Where (and who) in the world is Cigar Guy?
