Today’s Starbucks Alter Ego, And an Apology

This morning, we got an email from Jeff. He had just returned from Starbucks and noticed that “Jeff” was not the name written on his iced Grande Americano. So here it is folks, Jeff’s official apology to “Amgand S.” for stealing his/her/its coffee:
Hi, Pat,
This morning, I ordered my Iced Grande Americano (Wow, seeing that written down makes it seem WAY more pretentious!), paid, and then shuffled off to the side to wait. The barista called out “Iced Grande Americano” and I stepped up - as I could not see anyone else who made a motion/was waiting for longer than I was - and grabbed the drink. Once I got outside, (after having taken a few sips, so it was too late) I noticed that it certainly was NOT my name (Jeff) on this cup. (See picture.) HOWEVER, I’m ALSO pretty sure the person who ordered the other Iced Grande Americano was NOT called “Amgand S”, either.
So, I want to apologize to Amgand S for stealing their coffee. Please know that it was an honest mistake.
We believe you, Jeff, though we’re not totally convinced “Agmand S.” isn’t in fact how you spell Jeff in Starbucks-ese!
