Tiny House Squeezed into 24 Rooms

There’s efficient and then there’s efficient, Hong Kong-style. My pal sent along this crazy video of a 344-square-foot apartment in Hong Kong. The crazy thing is that the architect managed to squeeze in 24 rooms to the floor plan by putting them on sliding panels and stacking them behind one another. I thought space-starved New Yorkers might find some inspiration in the design, dubbed the “Domestic Transformer.” Check it out:
Speaking of tiny domiciles, I’ve been looking for an excuse to put up this video for about two weeks now. It’s an 89-square-foot home made by a company called Tumbleweed Houses. My apologies if anyone gets nervous after watching both clip about having to take one of those terrifyingly palatial subway cars home:
Thanks to my friend John Hanson for the tip.
