Pat’s 140 Conference “Twitter and Comedy” Panel

I moderated the “Twitter and Comedy” panel last night at the New York 140 Conference. Funny tweets seem to spread faster than anything else on Twitter, but we noted that you really don’t even get 140 characters. It’s important to condense a funny observation or joke into between 100 and 120 characters so people can add their own observations and re-tweet.
Joining me with their insights were:
Joe Randazzo (@Randazzoj) - Editor of The Onion
Lisa Cohen (@cohills) - Creator of WitStream
Michael Ian Black (@michaelianblack) - Comedian, Blogger
Michael Kupperman (@MKupperman) - Comedian, Blogger
Thanks to Jeff Pulver (@jeffpulver) for the invitation to the event. More #140Conf video online at ippio.com
Afterward, I did a quick interview with Sean McCarthy (@thecomicscomic) for his Comic’s Comic blog.
