Pat Joins WABC Radio Lineup with 5 pm Show

I’m returning to my broadcasting roots.
My first, second and third jobs in broadcast news were in radio newsrooms. The first was a volunteer gig at the University of Alberta’s campus radio station CJSR. Then I got hired to do “96 Second News Updates” at Edmonton’s CKRA, known at the time as 96 K-Lite FM. From there I crossed over to CFRN’s AM and FM stations, where I raced the clock to write a 6 minute news update for the top of the hour and a 4 minute news update for the bottom of every hour.
Today, Cumulus Media’s 77WABC announced that I’ll join the weekday radio lineup in New York, hosting a news-driven program from 5 to 6 pm.
To address the first question many people have had—no, I’m not leaving NY1. I’ll still be at my usual post weekday mornings. But now I’ll have a chance to continue the conversation at 5 pm.
I hope you can join me starting Monday January 6th on WABC at 770 AM. You can also listen at WABCradio.com or on your Apple or Android device with the iHeartRadio app.
