The oil spill was a top story again today, appearing on 25 front pages. Receiving the same number of headlines was news that about suspect in connection with the Times Square bomb plot. Reports of actress Lynn Redgrave’s death at age 67 were found in 13 newspapers. Appearing on 12 front pages were articles on a clash between Iran’s Ahmadinejad and Secretary of State Clinton at a global nuclear conference in which the US revealed the number of nuclear arms it has as an incentive for others to do the same. Also grabbing headlines in 12 papers was coverage of the storms and flooding in the South that have killed 28 people.
