The results of last night’s Academy Awards made the front page of every newspaper in our top 30, except for one. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution relegated its coverage to the inside. Reporting on the elections in Iraq, despite continued violence, appeared in 25 newspapers. Thirteen papers ran front-page articles on an al-Qaida spokesman reportedly arrested in Pakistan, amid speculation that he may be a California native.
