President Obama’s signature on the health bill, making it an official law, was the top story today, with 29 of our top 30 newspapers running front-page headlines. Only the Detroit Free Press opted out, choosing instead to focus on automotive industry news. News that women need to exercise for an hour or more a day to maintain their weight without dieting appeared on 12 front pages, while Obama’s private meeting with Israel prime minister Netanyahu appeared on nine. Reports that China has already begun to hit back at Google by blocking some its searches made headlines in eight.
