Most nations have stepped up airport security but some are refusing, reported 16 of our top 30 newspapers. Fifteen papers reported that the suicide bomber who attacked a CIA compound in Afghanistan was a double agent from Jordan who was supposed to be helping the US spy on al-Qaida. Eight publications ran front-page stories reporting that a third uninvited guest was found to have attended a White House state dinner in November.
