Relief efforts and reports of the increasing desperation of survivors was the top story again today, with 27 of 30 newspapers running front-page articles. The results of last night’s Golden Globes came in a close second with 25 headlines. The Massachusetts Senate race, the result of which could break the Democratic majority, was covered in 17 publications, while 16 commemorated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with tributes to the man, his legacy and the National Day of Service that has resulted.
