‘Captcha’ Requirement Gets Increasingly Long-Winded

I understand and tolerate the requirement on some websites that you complete a “CAPTCHA” test to prove that you’re not an automated system trying to steal content or hoard tickets. But the Wall Street Journal’s CAPTCHA tests are getting increasingly ridiculous. CAPTCHA stands for ?Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.? It makes me wonder how many people just give up before getting to the article they are after. Let’s hope the trend stops before replication of a whole paragraph is required.
