People love cat videos. Dogs behaving badly—or adorably—make for an instant YouTube hit. But a goose video? Really? At first, this might seem boring. But it’s strangely fascinating. I was catching up on news from Canada when I stumbled upon details about the 2011 edition of the Edmonton Journal’s “Goosecam.” Apparently, the paper developed quite an online following with this idea last year, so this spring the goose has returned for a fourth year. The paper set up a camera to watch a nest as eggs turn into gosling. A quick glance this morning proved to be pretty drama-free but the Journal says last year’s drama included “hostile goose attacks and a late snowstorm.” Check out the action below:
